Project scopeTo design, install and commission a domestic sprinkler system to BS 9251 providing sprinkler protection to all areas of domestic premises over 5 storeys. The provision of the sprinkler system was needed as a fire engineered solution to a means of escape issue with the town-houses as external escape staircases were undesirable. As such we worked closely with local authorities, consultants and construction teams to ensure all work was installed efficiently in line with modern construction constraints. All sprinklers were installed and complete in advance of project program deadline.
Project scopeTo design, install and commission a sprinkler system to LPC Rules Inc. BS EN 12845:2004+A2:2009 and client specification providing sprinkler protection to all areas of new glass exhibition centre. In addition to the common areas designed to the British Standard, the highly delicate main exhibit needed a fresh approach to an issue concerning accidental discharge of water to the gallery. As such, working closely with consultants and governing bodies, we successfully designed and installed a bespoke sprinkler system including automatic shut off solenoid valves satisfying all client requirements. All works were complete on time and within budget.
Project scopeTo design, install and commission a sprinkler system to LPC Rules Inc. BS EN 12845:2004+A2:2009 providing sprinkler protection to new large UK discs site. Working closely with M&E and main contractors we successfully designed, installed and commissioned a multi installation sprinkler system to provide protection based on the current British Standards in addition to Rolls Royce internal fire safety requirements. The sprinkler system included high hazard water supplies comprising one electric and one diesel pump set as well as sectional water storage tank. Despite construction constraints all work was complete and commissioned on time and within budget.
Project scopeTo design, install and commission a sprinkler system to LPC Rules Inc. BS EN 12845:2004+A2:2009 providing sprinkler protection to all areas of new multi storey academy. This included sprinkler protection to all areas of the building as well as providing new water supply comprising split tank, diesel and electric pumps. In order to accommodate client requirements controlling the large areas of the building a zoned system was installed which comprised of zone valves and zone-check units with all monitoring facilities catered for to allow for easy identification of zone activation. All works were complete ahead of schedule.
Project scopeTo design, supply, install & commission new sprinkler water supplies to feed the existing plant to meet design standard – FM Global incorporating NFPA 20. The length of the programme was 3 months. The supplies are feeding approximately 100 valve sets over the entire plant and providing a new FM approved Fire Pump rated at 4500 US/gpm @ 125psi supplied by 2 x 953m3 FM approved sprinkler tanks. The time-frame was critical to the client. RFE met this and the project was completed on time and within budget.
