Rfe were contracted by Dodd Group to design, supply, install, test and commission a sprinkler system, including electric fire pump and cylindrical water storage tank, at a new build school in Oldham. All complying to LPC BSEN 12845 Property Protection using LPC rules incorporating BSEN 12845 - TB221 protection for schools.
The new school has been designed to meet the growing needs of pupils and the community by providing an additional 150 school places, meaning it can now accommodate up to 1,500 pupils. Work was successfully completed in early 2022 and included:
• 3158x sprinklers installed
• 1x Electric & 1x Jockey pump
• 1x LPCB approved circular tank
• 1x GRP Enclosure
This was a great project from start to finish and a pleasure to work on.
