“A brand-new sprinkler installation in an ambient warehouse”
Whitby Seafoods has produced delicious scampi in Whitby, North Yorkshire, since 1985. In 2019 they contracted RfE to design and install a sprinkler system in their new ambient warehouse and extension. The warehouse had no sprinkler protection so RfE designed and installed soffit sprinkler protection at roof level & installed new water supplies (pumps and two tanks) whilst allowing for the possibility of future expansion. All works were completed to the latest LPC rules incorporating BSEN12845:2015. Today we continue to service the system, providing monthly and annual services, as well as offering a 24-hour call-out provision should an engineer be required.
