“A successful new install in Northern Ireland”
TG Eakin produce pharmaceutical stoma care products at their manufacturing plant in Comber, Northern Ireland. In 2020 RFe were contracted by Skope Projects Ltd to design, install and commission sprinkler works to the existing production & storage areas.
The systems comprised of 2 LPC approved fire pumps drawing water from a 900m cubed concrete tank, 2 x pre-action type A systems (Production areas) and 1 x Wet ESFR system to protect the warehouse storage area.
The sprinkler system complies with all current LPC rules incorporating BSEN12845:2015 and including all latest/relevant technical bulletins. The work was successfully completed on time and to budget in May 2021 which was appreciated by the end client. Further work is anticipated in the near future.
