RFe were contracted by Castle Building Services to fit a new sprinkler system in the £61million City Hall building in Sunderland. Our work began in January 2021 and we handed over the completed work in October. The building will be the new base for Sunderland City Council and will house around 1,200 staff as well several public sector organisations
We supplied and installed the water supplies consisting of a LPCB approved 96 m3 sprinkler tank and duty / standby fire pumps positioned in a dedicated plant room. We designed, supplied, installed & commissioned the sprinkler system in accordance with BSEN12845 OH1 property protection with the enhancement of a stand-by diesel pump. All works were completed on time and to budget.
